Finally Seeing Discovery Again
So with Mom here visiting from Germany and some crappy weather in the forecast, I suggested we pay a visit to the Udvar-Hazy Center (commonly known as the Smithsonian National Air And Space Museum) in Dulles, VA. I have been wanting to go here for quite some time, funny how it takes family or friends to finally visit "local" sights. This museum is simply fantastic, seeing Space Shuttle Discovery up close and this personal was quite a treat. Here a few teasers:
