I have to admit, yesterdays visit to Arlington National Cemetery has had a profound impact on me.  Initially we went to pay our respects to members of the USS Cole that are buried in section 60, site 7732, 7733 and 7734.  Section 60 appears to be where most Iraqi Freedom and Afghanistan Soldiers are resting in peace.  It was incredibly moving to see so many family members tending to their loved ones site, and doing so with a dignity, strength and honor.  I did meet Ann, the mother of SGT. Andrew Joseph Baddick, who also is serving in the 82nd Airborne Division.  She shared many nice stories about her son, and towards the end of the conversation asked to give me a hug - she is an incredibly strong woman.  I will post some more pictures in the days to come, am signing off with an image of Mr. Clodfelter's headstone.
