Cruising along for several hours, pulling in the clutch as I approach a backup, and the bike dies. Not able to re-start. On RT15 in Frederick, horrible traffic. Pushing her across RT15 up an on-ramp, and there is a CarQuest Auto place right there! Luckily RJ enlarged the stock battery box for EXACTLY such reasons, to be able to get a bigger battery when a stock one is not available. Bought a battery for $157 and was on my way. Replaced the voltage regulator also (a month or so later - don't want to chance burning up this battery).
